This Friday (1st Oct) see's the launch of Brisbane's BARI festival (Brisbane Artist Run Initiative). All across inner Brisbane 12 different artist run galleries will open their doors for the whole month of October too showcase a huge selection of works by both emerging and more established creative peoples. Myself and 32 others will be hanging works on the wall over at Jugglers Art space located in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Doors open at 6 and close around midnight this. Cheap beer / wine prices are very likely. Get down, check it out and if your feeling loose enough buy a lovely piece of artwork. Your walls will appreciate it and so will our pockets!

One of the coolest pieces of memorabilia I brought back from Japan were some stickers that I purchased in this massive, multistory art supply shop in downtown Shinjuku. The orange face looking ones are apparently symbols for yen, whilst my mate Hayato informed me that the text ones mean "crazy low price", or something along those lines. Anyway bringing these stickers back and pasting them around the place inspired me make a few new stickers again drawing the weird little characters I used to reguarly draw.
